'U.S. News': Ranking Nonprofit Programs

Harvard University has the best nonprofit-management program in the country, says U.S. News & World Report (April 9).

In an examination of programs at public-affairs graduate schools, the magazine said Indiana University at Bloomington followed Harvard. Placing No. 3 was the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, followed by New York University. Seton Hall University and the Johns Hopkins University tied for fifth place

Yale University won top place in a ranking of nonprofit programs run by the nation's business schools. Northwestern University came in No. 2., followed by Harvard, Stanford University, and the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.

The rankings, plus an article on the nonprofit careers undertaken by graduates of public-affairs programs, are available at http://www.usnews.com.
